The Salvation Army - Theatre 315 produces community theatre within The Salvation Army Times Square Corps Community Center in midtown Manhattan. We seek to love and serve people in the Performing Arts community without discrimination, using theatrical stage productions as our platform, and tell stories that reveal the good news of God.

Our Mission

To light a stage in Broadway where the Gospel is translated through the performing arts.

Our Values

The values and practices of this Artistic community can be described as follows:

  •  We work diligently to maintain a highly creative, healthy, and safe environment where Artists can hone their craft, showcase their talents, and be rewarded with a valuable, enriching experience

  •  We hold open auditions for our shows, welcoming a diversity of Performers without discrimination

  • We passionately infuse our work with artistic excellence, intellectual integrity and spiritual grit

  • We value each and every individual Artist who works with us while putting their worth and value as a person first and foremost above their talents and abilities

  • We endeavor to support Artists in whatever way we can before, during, and after a production, including Artists who may never be directly involved with our shows

  • We welcome Performing Artists who come to work with us on a volunteer basis

  • We work diligently to provide and maintain an exceptionally clean, well-kept facility with the expectation that everyone performing here will maintain the same standard

  • We freely welcome without obligation any Artist who wants to join us for our weekly Sunday church services

  • We aim to tell stories that reveal the character of Jesus Christ while bringing glory to the LORD

  • We produce high quality, highly entertaining shows that are available to the public

  • We support the mission of The Salvation Army to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination
